Paypayo is a project inspired by my homeland: French Guiana
Everything you need to know about Paypayo!
Why Paypayo?
The Piauhau hurler, or Paypayo in Guyanese, is a small emblematic bird of the Amazon rainforest. This sentinel bird cries when one enters the forest...
And the media in all this?
Through Paypayo media, I aim to:
- Raise awareness of environmental issues
- Highlight positive initiatives
- Educate for better understanding
- Act and debate with you!
Paypayo in a few figures...
I have always been committed to the environment and it was only natural that in 2023, while elected Miss Guyana, I chose to highlight the environmental cause.

Join the green caravan!
The Green Caravan is a travelling initiative taking place in June 2026. Led by Paypayo Media, it travels the roads of Guyana to go directly to meet students in their schools.
Objective: to offer fun and interactive workshops on waste sorting, the stakes of recycling, and the impact of pollution on the Guyanese environment.
Raise awareness among students
... and their parents
about the impact of human activity on the Guyanese environment and the importance of its protection.
Promote responsible behaviours
by adopting the right gestures
sort, recycle, reduce waste production.
Enhance Guyanese identity
and our territory
by anchoring awareness in local realities (biodiversity, coastline, Amazon rainforest).
